This plan has developed to help reduce high histamine foods in the diet. Providing a plan based on low histamine foods, to suit the elimination phase.
The plan does contain a couple of moderate histamine foods and histamine liberators in very small amounts (with notes on how to alter this in the recipes), please check the shopping list and speak with your individual client, if you feel they are highly sensitive to anything.
Low Histamine Food Lists can vary, so the menu plan has been compiled using the ‘Swiss Interest Group Histamine Intolerance (SIGHI) List and the ‘Insiders Guide to the Histamine Intolerance Food List’ by Alison Vickery.
NOTE: This is not a high calorie plan, if you require more calories clients can add larger servings or extra snacks.
